Daniel C. Stark is an associate in the Litigation Group at A.Y. Strauss. He regularly represents clients in state and federal courts in New Jersey and New York, as well as in arbitrations, mediations, and proceedings before administrative agencies.

Dan advises and represents businesses of all sizes on a full spectrum of legal issues. His practice focuses on commercial and chancery litigation, including claims for injunctive and equitable relief, minority shareholder oppression claims, disputes among members and shareholders in closely held entities and fiduciary duties and statutory obligations of companies and their management. He is also experienced in representing businesses in contract drafting and disputes, labor and employment matters, foreclosures, alternative dispute resolution and more.

In addition to his litigation practice, Dan counsels clients on compliance with evolving state and federal employment laws and related human resources matters. He has conducted numerous internal investigations and provides training to employees at all levels, including senior management. He also has significant experience with traditional labor issues, including compliance with the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA), union representation elections, unfair labor practice charges, and the negotiation and drafting of collective bargaining agreements.
