A.Y. Strauss is pleased to announce that Evan M. Goldman, chair of the firm’s Franchise and Hospitality practice group, has been recognized by Franchise Times as a “Legal Eagle” for the fourth year in a row. Franchise Times is a national publication for franchisors and multi-unit franchisees. Legal Eagles is an annual listing that recognizes leading franchise law attorneys based on input from their peers and clients as well as criteria set by the editorial panel of Franchise Times.
The editors of Franchise Times characterize a legal eagle as someone “with a keen mind for both the legalese and business, they understand the gravitas of every legal battle, every transaction and every document.”
Aaron Y. Strauss, managing partner of A.Y. Strauss, said, “Evan provides our Franchise group clients with exceptional business and legal counsel. It is gratifying to see him earn such an esteemed recognition from Franchise Times, and it is well deserved.”
Goldman added, “I am honored to be named to the Legal Eagles list and am appreciative of the recognition from peers and clients, as well as the editors of Franchise Times. The past year, with all its challenges, has been a boon to franchisors. In our practice, we have nearly doubled our client roster to more than 135 franchisors in categories ranging from wellness to food and beverage kiosks, to sporting equipment and training. It is always exciting to be involved with innovative businesses and to help them navigate the complexities of franchising laws and regulations.”
