Partner Kelly M. Purcaro Quoted in Law360 Article on Class Certification Change Proposed by NJ Supreme Court

Kelly Purcaro discusses the time saving element of proposed changes.

Kelly Purcaro, partner, and co-chair of the firm’s Litigation Group, comments on rule changes proposed by the state’s Supreme Court related to allowing an automatic right to interlocutory appeals for orders granting or denying class certification.

Kelly, who also co-chairs the state bar association’s Class Actions Special Committee, notes, “I think what it’s intended to do is reduce what is essentially a waste of attorney time and judicial resources,” she said, and added, “I think they are well-thought-out and well-intended amendments that, for the most part, would have a positive impact on attorneys, litigants and the court.”
