Amanda Forsthoffer is the Director of Human Resources and Talent Acquisition at A.Y. Strauss. In this role, she supports the firm’s strategic lateral recruitment efforts, attorney professional development, and administers employee benefits and payroll.

Amanda has over 25 years of experience supporting law firms in various roles, including 15 years in a human resources generalist capacity. Prior to joining the firm, Amanda worked for a global law firm where she administered benefits and payroll for over 250 employees located through the U.S. In earlier roles, Amanda extensively managed lateral attorney recruitment and onboarding efforts, on campus interview programs, and summer and fall associate programs. Additionally, Amanda advised on the design and implementation of employment policies and procedures, and oversaw employee performance, training, and mentoring programs.

Amanda earned a Human Resources Certification from Middlesex County College and studied Business Management at Raritan Valley Community College.
