Vincent I. Ferrer is an associate at A.Y. Strauss in the Real Estate, Litigation, and Corporate practice groups. He represents companies and individuals across a wide range of matters including commercial real estate transactions, corporate transactions, and complex commercial litigation. He is also a trusted source of general counsel and practical legal guidance for his clients. In addition to his practice, Vincent supports the Firm’s marketing initiatives and maintains a network of strategic partnerships across the New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut markets.

Before joining the Firm, Vincent was a member of the real estate tax team for a preeminent New Jersey-based firm. In that role, he supported over $1.2 billion in real estate transactions by publicly traded REITs, developers, and family offices. He also represented commercial and individual real estate owners in state court and county board proceedings.

Prior to entering private practice, Vincent clerked for the Honorable Stacey D. Adams, Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division in Monmouth County.

Before becoming an attorney, Vincent was the Director of Marketing & Communications for a nationally acclaimed educational institution. He was responsible for developing the $27 million-endowed organization’s paid, earned, and owned marketing campaigns. His past projects included rebranding the organization, negotiating partnerships with brands like Nike and Gatorade, and launching a multi-year, $18 million capital campaign.

Representative Matters

  • Represented the founder of a nationally focused marketing agency in the negotiations and sale of a minority interest in the agency to a venture capital firm.
  • Represented an industrial property owner in the concurrent eviction proceedings and lease negotiations with a commercial tenant in the process of being acquired by an international corporation.
  • Represented an investor group in pre-litigation dispute of start-up dissolution.
  • Represented a partner in an accounting practice during the negotiations and formation of a new entity.
