A.Y. Strauss is excited to announce that a new practice group, Environmental Law, has been added to our firm’s capabilities, with the addition of Partner Allison Gabala.

An accomplished environmental attorney, Allison’s practice focuses on environmental litigation, regulatory matters, and high-stakes corporate and real estate transactions involving environmental risk. She brings a decade of experience working across both government and private practice, handling matters of environmental investigation and remediation, risk and liability assessment in property handling, defending licenses, and obtaining permits and approvals for insurance to comply with state, local and federal regulations.

Allison has extensive experience representing public and privately held companies, businesses, property owners, real estate developers, investors and individuals through each step of environmental litigation matters, and environmental real estate transactions.

Prior to joining A.Y. Strauss, Allison served as Senior Counsel at an AmLaw200 firm, where she worked with property owners and developers to advise on compliance with environmental laws and regulations at the local, state, and federal levels. She also worked as a Senior Environmental Litigation Analyst at a Big Four accounting firm, where she counseled the U.S. Navy and other federal entities on all aspects of complex environmental litigation.
