William McConnell is a partner at A.Y. Strauss. With over 20 years of transactional experience, Bill guides institutional lenders, insurance companies, private equity funds, servicers, and borrowers in connection with secured commercial lending facilities, mortgage-backed-securities, and commercial real estate lending needs.

Bill advises sophisticated real estate lenders and developers in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions—from term sheet inception through negotiations and closing. His commercial transactions experience includes mortgage origination, financing, mezzanine loans, commercial leasing, partnerships, loan modifications, workouts, and foreclosures.

Prior to joining A.Y. Strauss, Bill was a partner at a mid-sized firm in New York City. In that capacity, Bill represented institutional clients in large, complex commercial lending transactions.
