John D. Naphor is an associate in the Litigation Group at A.Y. Strauss, where he advises clients throughout every stage of litigation and dispute resolution. He represents companies in complex commercial disputes, business torts and employment matters.

John has worked in both private practice—at a large international firm— and government: he formerly served as Assistant Corporation Counsel in the New York City Law Department, where he defended the City and its client agencies in complex high-exposure tort claims. In this role, he regularly assessed and identified liability and litigation strategies at the onset of litigation and negotiated settlement agreements.
