Lisa Lomelo is a partner in the firm’s Land Use and Litigation Groups, where she focuses her practice on land use and zoning, redevelopment, and complex litigation. Known for her strategic, detail-oriented approach, Lisa provides clients with comprehensive counsel across the full lifecycle of development projects and related disputes.

Lisa regularly represents clients throughout the development approval process, appearing before zoning boards, planning boards, and other governmental entities on a wide range of land use applications. Her experience extends to managing sophisticated land use, real estate, construction, and commercial litigation matters. She also handles prerogative writ actions and appellate advocacy, offering clients continuity from initial approvals through trial and appeal when necessary.

Lisa’s combination of regulatory insight, litigation strength, and industry recognition makes her a trusted advisor to developers, property owners, and businesses navigating complex land use and real estate challenges.

In 2008, Lisa became the first female attorney in New Jersey to earn LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Accredited Professional status, reflecting her early commitment to all aspects of the development process.

A recognized leader in her field, Lisa was named to Super Lawyers® 2026 and previously selected to Super Lawyers® Rising Stars (2010–2018) for her work in both land use and litigation. In 2018, she was honored as one of New Jersey’s “New Leaders of the Bar” by the New Jersey Law Journal.

Beyond her practice, Lisa serves on the District X Fee Arbitration Committee and is an active member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association, and the New York State Bar Association.
