Effie Langberg is the Human Resources Manager at A.Y. Strauss. Effie leads the development and delivery of HR strategies that support the firm’s success and increase employee engagement. She oversees key areas including talent management, benefits, employee relations, compliance, and performance. Effie builds trusted partnerships that align employee programs with business priorities. Her expertise spans policy design, process improvement, change management, and employee experience, ensuring that HR practices strengthen both culture and performance outcomes.

Prior to joining A.Y. Strauss, Effie worked as a Vice President, Human Resources & Benefits at a leading investment bank. In that role, she led initiatives that streamlined HR processes and enhanced employee engagement and performance.

Effie earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Rutgers University and Master’s Degree in Counseling from Columbia University.
